Cougars Make It Three in a Row
Clinton Community College Women's Soccer team extended their winning streak to three games in a row this past weekend. After winning against Jefferson Community College a week ago, the Cougars defeat the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves and the Word of Life Huskies in decisive fashion. A back and forth game against the Huskies saw the Cougars come away with a 3-2 victory, with the Cougars scoring late to finish the game.
Sunday's game against SUNY Adirondack was deadlocked at 0-0, until Abigail Webb provided the game winning goal off an assist from Katelyn Southwick. When asked about the results over the weekend Coach Katie Lee said "These last two games really showed how much grit and determination these girls have. I couldn't be more proud of them for putting their all into these games, especially against SUNY Adirondack. Our coaching staff had a very difficult time determining a player of the game because there was more than a few that put their all into that game and that is all we can ask of them."
