CCC Cross Country Teams Excel at NJCAA Region 3 Championships
The Clinton Community College Cougar Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams had another successful meet at the NJCAA Region 3 Cross Country Championships, held this past weekend at Herkimer Community College.
The Clinton Community College Cougar Men's and Women's Cross Country teams had another successful meet at the NJCAA Region 3 Cross Country Championships, held this past weekend at Herkimer Community College.
In the women's 5K race, Alex Cone made an outstanding performance, securing the title of NJCAA Region 3 Women's Cross Country Champion. She finished the course with a personal best time of 21:14, an impressive achievement that qualifies her to compete in the NJCAA Division 3 National Championships in Richmond, Virginia, on November 9th.
The men's 8K race saw Brayden Peters achieve a personal best with a time of 36:40, followed closely by Alex Jock, who also set a personal record of 37:00.
Clinton Community College is proud of the dedication and hard work demonstrated by the Cougar Cross Country teams. Congratulations to all the runners on an outstanding season, and best of luck to Alex Cone at nationals!
